Welcome to the New Web Site of the Ingraham High School Art Department.  My name is Alan Goodin and I am the Art Department Chairperson.  I teach three art subjects: Sculpture first period, Ceramics second and third period and Photography fifth and sixth periods.

I have made a three fold pledge this year to all my students.  The pledge comes from our previous Superintendent, John Stanford's book, Victory in our Schools; We CAN Give Our Children an Excellent Public Education.   I have promised to: 1.  love all the students entrusted into my care;  2. believe that all students will learn. 3.  not write off any student based on past performance.

This page takes the place of the School District's SOURCE.  I will be using it like I used the Source to keep you up to date on the assignments and handouts that students use to do the work and experience the growth in learning.  I see part of my job is to help each student celebrate their understandings, reflections, insights and awareness.  We are all learners in my classroom and I ask all my students to share and support one another.
